Let us help you achieve your career dreams.Job Title: Die Maintenance Team LeadType of Role: Direct HireShift: 2 week rotationLocation: San Antonio, TxPay Range: $25.00/hourJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Die Maintenance Team Lead to support operations in a steel manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with daily die maintenance activities while leading and supporting a team of technicians to ensure equipment reliability, production efficiency, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in die maintenance along with the ability to guide and support team members on the floor.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support die maintenance technicians in daily operations and assigned tasksPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on dies, tooling, and related equipmentTroubleshoot and repair dies to minimize downtime and maintain production flowAssist in scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activities based on production needsEnsure compliance with company policies and OSHA standardsInspect dies and tooling for wear, damage, and proper functionalityMaintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentationCollaborate with production and quality teams to improve tooling performance and reduce defectsSupport continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and process optimizationPromote a safe, organized, and efficient work environmentQualifications:2+ years of experience in die maintenance within a manufacturing environmentPrevious lead or team support experience preferredStrong understanding of die repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenanceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsBasic welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, production environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills:Experience in steel or heavy manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of stamping, forming, or die tooling processesApply now and one of our recruiters will reach out to you!Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.
