Responsibilities Put People First:Put the needs of the customer first by proactively taking action to ensure successful completion of the application stepsFacilitate the application signature, exam scheduling and medical interview processesProvide personalized assistance to customers, answering their questions and addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.Uphold our quality standards and SLAs, including but not limited to completion of scheduled tasks and prompt email and voicemail returnsMaintain open communication with clients with special focus on regular phone and email updatesOperate with Excellence:Review new insurance applications with a focus on detail, accuracy, and completenessAssist customers with completion of application forms, while ensuring regulatory rules and guidelines are metStrive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service and maintain a friendly and helpful demeanorPrepare and deliver forms and correspondences to insurance carriers and clients with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailAdvise customers of any additional documentation or requirements needed to complete the applicationBe a Passionate Team Player:Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, applications and related documentationProvide impeccable and professional customer service to clients, carrier representatives, and coworkersComplete projects as assigned by the manager to assist the departmentMake a Positive Difference:We are here to make life better for our clients, their beneficiaries, and our communities.QualificationsPrior experience in roles that involve a combination of exceptional customer service, salesmanship and administrative duties is highly desirableStrong time management skills with ability to work at a fast pace while effectively balancing customer needs and meeting hard deadlinesExperience navigating multiple screens and systems at once with swift keyboard proficiency, WPM of 40+, MS Office programsAbility to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while handling interruptions and without compromising accuracy or efficiencyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenPatience, empathy, and the ability to effectively explain concepts that are unfamiliar to clientsExceptional teamwork skills with ability to work effectively and harmoniously with a team to achieve common goalsAbility to react to change in a productive and positive manner Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous experience in a call center is highly desired
