Campaign Aide & Digital Content Cordinator

Position SummaryThe Campaign Aide & Digital Content Coordinator serves as the candidate's primary travelaide while simultaneously owning the campaign's social media presence. The role pairs in-person logistical support with on-the-ground content capture: this individual will be at thecandidate's side for nearly every public event, capturing photo and video in real time, andturning that material into polished posts across the campaign's channels the same day.This is a high-trust, high-visibility position. The Aide is often the closest staff member to thecandidate during public-facing hours and is expected to exercise sound judgment,professionalism, and discretion at all times.Key Responsibilities — Candidate Support• Accompany the candidate to events, meetings, canvasses, and public appearancesacross the district• Manage the candidate's daily schedule, timing, and transitions between events• Drive the candidate to and from events; manage routing, parking, and arrival logistics• Prepare and carry briefing materials, talking points, signage, and campaign supplies• Anticipate the candidate's needs throughout the day and resolve issues before theysurface• Serve as a professional point of contact for voters, donors and press on-site• Maintain strict discretion regarding the candidate's schedule, conversations, andpersonal informationKey Responsibilities — Social Media & Content• Own the day-to-day management of the campaign's social media accounts (Facebook,Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube as applicable)• Capture high-quality photo and video of the candidate at events, canvasses, andconstituent interactions• Edit and publish content on a same-day cadence, including reels, stories, and short-form video• Draft post copy that is consistent with campaign voice, message discipline, andapproved policy positions• Maintain a running content calendar and coordinate with the Campaign Advisor onmessaging priorities• Monitor comments, mentions, and direct messages• Track engagement metrics and report performance weeklyQualifications• Demonstrated proficiency with social media platforms, mobile photo/video capture,and basic editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent)• Excellent written communication and a sharp eye for visual content• Highly organized, punctual, and dependable under a demanding schedule• Professional presence and comfort operating in public-facing political environments• Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle• Willingness to work a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, including long days, evenings, andholidays as needed• Prior campaign, political, communications, or advance experience strongly preferredIdeal CandidateYou are calm, observant, and always one step ahead.
