Civil Engineer
We are looking to fill several positions at varying levels, including a Professional Engineer (PE) and an Engineer Intern (EI) to assist with various public-sector civil engineering design projects for clients, including counties, cities, and other agencies & municipalities. Our ideal candidate can assist with projects, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients.AIM's Civil Engineering services include public infrastructure, water resources and stormwater management, hydrologic and ecosystem restoration, construction phase services, and general engineering administration. This position is located at our Fort Myers corporate office, where hybrid schedules are available. AIM offers flexibility to tailor responsibilities based on your experience and career aspirations. Even if you don’t meet every qualification or feel unsure about stepping into a larger role, we encourage you to apply as we value potential, growth, and willingness to learn.Objectives of this Role:Provide diverse production engineering design expertise for various civil engineering projects and technical reports.Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and review agency personnel to maintain professional relationships.Ability to track and complete project tasks on schedule and within budget.Adhere to internal Quality Control to ensure designs, plans, and calculations are complete and accurate.Ability to direct, train, and mentor junior staffPreferred Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited universityRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) in FloridaWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS is preferredFamiliarity with local, state, and federal regulations governing civil engineering projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of clientsAIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
