Interfaces with manufacturing engineering, design engineering, procurement, sales and marketing to prepare product cost estimation analysis for the purposes of price quotation, new product design, internal cost information requests and cost reductions/increasesNature Of Duties/Responsibilities Analyzes BOMs to gain a thorough understanding of the project Uses established criteria to determine which supplier to use Help with part number issues with suppliers and gathers other relevant information to complete quote Uses bid data to prepare detailed material estimates and cost estimates for the product Compiles and records actual costs Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field of work. Minimum 1 year of related work experience. Strong Excel skills to include math formulas and VLOOKUPs Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication to interact with the team.
