Flight Software Engineer

Our goal is to provide you with challenging work in a fun environment.Job Description:Responsibilities:Take full ownership of application life cyclesImplement and test various functionalities in ENCOREUse ENCORE and modern C++ to develop flight softwareDeliver production-ready code against aggressive timelinesDevelop interdisciplinary software solutions and tools to optimize engineering time and eliminate redundanciesDevelop modular and reusable automation software in modern C++Roll out software releases to customersBasic Qualifications:Development experience with and affinity for modern C++ (11 or later)Ability to implement and test code against aggressive timelinesDeep understanding of and experience with software testing and verificationExcellent communication (written and verbal) skillsExcellent problem-solving abilityU.S. Citizen (or Permanent Resident) is required due to the nature of the workExperience with one or more are desired:Successful product deployment track record using C++, preferably in embedded environmentsRTOS experience (RTEMS, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, etc)Experience with test automationExperience with agile software development processExperience with safety critical software testing and verificationExperience with engineering data processingFluent in Linux bash shell scriptingDeep understanding of user-experience design principles and ability to add to designExperience with software interface developmentSalary Range (based on experience):$70k – $150k
