This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and maintaining quality production standards.This position represents the mid-level range of extrusion skills and offers on-the-job training for motivated candidates.Available Shifts & Pay1st Shift: 6:00AM- 2:00 PM | $15.50/hour2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | $16.00/hour3rd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | $16.50/hourPosition OverviewAs an Extrusion Technician, you will prepare and operate extrusion equipment used to produce plastic materials such as bars, rods, tubing, and other shaped products. You'll monitor production, ensure quality standards are met, and help keep equipment running safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and operate extrusion machinerySort and handle raw plastic materialsSet up, adjust, test, and monitor equipmentEnsure correct product size, shape, and qualityInspect finished products and report defectsClean tools and equipment and perform basic maintenanceFollow workplace safety and quality standardsMaintain an organized and efficient work areaQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredManufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus, but not requiredMechanical aptitude and attention to detailBasic math and measuring skillsAbility to stand and work on your feet for extended periodsStrong work ethic and dependabilityWillingness to learn through hands-on training??
