We are working with a lead Partner at a premier New York City-based law firm, who is actively looking for a talented and motivated Trusts & Estates Attorney to join their growing practice. The RoleYou will work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses to provide creative and effective wealth preservation and tax planning strategies. Your work will span:Sophisticated Estate Planning: Drafting complex wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable gift and insurance trusts.Tax Strategy: Navigating federal and state tax laws related to family businesses, charitable giving, and wealth preservation.Estate & Trust Administration: Guiding clients through the intricacies of probate, estate tax filings, and fiduciary accountings.The firm is looking for:J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the New York State Bar.4+ years of dedicated experience in trusts and estates law within a peer law firm.Strong understanding of gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) taxes.Exceptional drafting skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients with empathy and clarity.An entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.The firm is offering:A highly competitive compensation package (base of $250-350k).
