General Laborer/Shipping & receiving

General Labor Position Prospect Mold is looking to hire a General Labor position. The general labor person will work in collaboration with management to ensure a safe and orderly work environment. The person will work daily with tow motor operations, driving company vehicles, and overhead crane operations. Basic carpentry skills to fabricate custom size crates for shipping of finished products.Key responsibilities include:Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yardOperate overhead cranes, or other moving or lifting equipment.Operate material handling equipment safely.Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.Follow established safety procedures and report any safety concerns immediately.Familiarity with warehouse equipment and adherence to safety protocols.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Requirements and experience include:Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a manufacturing plant environment.
