Jackson, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our accounting team. This role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day financial operations with a strong focus on construction accounts payable processes, including job costing and subcontractor payables.This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You'll work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficiency across all payable functionshelping keep our projects running smoothly from the ground up.Key Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices and accurately code costs to appropriate jobs and cost categoriesEnsure proper documentation and approvals are obtained in alignment with company proceduresMaintain accurate job cost records and assist with cost tracking and reportingReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerEnsure costs are properly recorded by job, phase, and cost codeCollaborate with project managers and operations staff to resolve accounts payable issuesIdentify process improvements and support system and workflow enhancementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)510+ years of accounts payable experienceStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong knowledge of accounting in the construction, heavy highway, or similar industries, including job costing and cost allocationExperience with Spectrum ERP is a plusUnderstanding of job cost reporting and construction workflowsExposure to general ledger activities and broader accounting functionsSkills & Competencies:High level of accuracy and attention to detailSolution-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilitiesTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentStrong organizational and communication skillsWhy Join C.R.
