And we believe those same values should guide how we treat our employees.Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Assistant Professor of Healthcare Research plays a key role in advancing the University’s research mission by leading and coordinating research initiatives that expand institutional funding, promote scholarly activity, and support the work of the Clinical Outcomes Research and Education (CORE) Center. This faculty member will develop and sustain a program of scholarship while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across academic programs. In alignment with Roseman’s 6‑Point Mastery Learning Model, the Assistant Professor will design and deliver instructional content that supports student and resident learning outcomes. The role also includes active collaboration with faculty and staff to enhance educational experiences, as well as meaningful participation in university and college service through committees and academic initiatives.Essential FunctionsSupport the effective operation and growth of the CORE Center and Research Advisory Committee.Develop and sustain an externally funded research program aligned with institutional priorities.Conduct high‑impact research and disseminate findings through peer‑reviewed publications and scholarly presentations.Mentor dental students and residents in research design, methodology, analysis, and dissemination.Pursue external funding and build collaborative partnerships to expand research initiatives.Collaborate with faculty and staff to support interdisciplinary research, compliance, and accreditation activities.QualificationsPhD in a science and technology field, with experience in dental research and education.Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; and the ability to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated record of scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications and presentations.What We OfferMedical, dental, and vision plans with a variety of optionsRetirement matching up to 7.5%Employee Assistance Programs, including mental health servicesGenerous vacation and sick leave for a strong work‑life balancePaid holidaysEligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)Additional employer‑paid benefitsAt Roseman University of Health Sciences, we're redefining the future of education and healthcare.
