HR Business Partner
The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner is responsible for providing exceptional service through strategic partnerships with senior leaders on business decisions related to Inova Health's HR strategy. Partners with business leaders while providing team member relations, compensation, recruiting and organizational development support. Provides feedback to leaders to improve individual and team performance. Develops strategies to address performance related issues and ensures compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws. Reviews and recommends compensation strategies within the organization's pay philosophy, practices and guidelines for new hires, promotions, transfers and equity and merit adjustments.Job Responsibilities:Engages with the workforce and leadership to develop talent strategies, succession planning, analyze performance management trends and identify, develop and conduct applicable training opportunitiesEnsures compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws and stays current of all regulatory and legislative issues that directly impact InovaSupports new business development efforts by engaging with clients in organization design, team chartering, training, retention plans and developing integration and transition strategiesSuccessfully prioritizes and resolves Human Resources related issues to ensure consistent internal and external customer satisfactionDevelops and delivers leadership training to curriculum on performance improvement, standards of behavior, coaching and counseling difficult team member relations issues and change managementProvides consultation to management on team member relations, EEO and other job related issues. Initiates interventions and provides advice/counseling to resolve issuesServes as a trusted advisor and counsel for all HR programs and activities including team member relations, compensation, performance management, policies, procedures, talent acquisition, organizational communications, reporting (including trends and analysis) and any special projects as assignedSupports program efforts, partners in organizational assessments and planning, supports training initiatives and assists in the performance management processMinimum Requirements:Experience - 3 years of experience in Human ResourcesEducation - Bachelor's Degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years)Preferred Requirements:Experience supporting leaders within a complex healthcare or integrated health system environmentStrong background using HR data and analytics to inform business decisions and workforce strategiesKnowledge of healthcare workforce regulations, labor relations, and clinical workforce dynamicsProven ability to influence and build relationships with executive and physician leadership
