Manager Fund Accounting

Livingston, NJ or Wilmington, DE - Hybrid schedule (three days onsite weekly) Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Summary CSC Global Financial Markets (GFM) has a growing financial services business unit located in West Orange New Jersey and Wilmington Delaware. We provide accounting and reporting services to private capital investment funds and their investors. Accountabilities and Deliverables Assist in managing client relationships Review accounting records and support schedules Review checks and wires Review form 1099 Coordinate deliverables with client and internal teams Daily client and team member interaction Career development, supervision, and training of staff Ensure that best practices are used by fund accounting team and look for process improvements Lead/Assist with special projects Technical Skills, Experience, and Qualifications BS Degree in Accounting - CPA or CPA candidate a plus Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting required Working knowledge of US GAAP Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges) Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines Experience delegating, training and supervising staff Experience managing client relationships Professional verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual.
