The Engineer also maintains a solid understanding of modern network management and automation techniques for managing daily operations. The ability to document engineering and operational guidelines for client environments is critical for success in this position.ResponsibilitiesCreate network designs and project-plans based on client requirementsImplement network designs including installing and configuring hardware and softwareCreate, test, and deploy automation scriptsDesign, configure and implement security technologies for clients, including for email, web, cloud, network, and endpointsResponsible for the design and implementation of modern network management, capacity, and performance monitoring solutions in addition to troubleshooting and resolving network issuesCreate complex network diagrams, supporting project documentation, and post-implementation and training documentation for knowledge transfer sessions with customersUtilize effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with, inform, and update vendors and customers in a professional mannerRequired Skills And ExperienceExperience in enterprise network architecture/design with emphasis in advanced routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP and OMPExperience utilizing network configuration management tools, traffic and flow analysis along with implementing infrastructure monitoring tools for capacity reporting.Strong experience with cloud technology and cloud network design, primarily Azure and AWSExperience designing and deploying wireless and software defined solutionsExperience designing, configuring, and implementing device, data path and network virtualization technologiesExperience in designing and implementing security solutions including Cisco Secure Firewall, Meraki, Duo, Umbrella and ASA with FirepowerExperience developing, interpreting, and debugging automation scripts using automation technologies including Python and AnsibleExperience implementing integrating federated identity systems, multi-factor authentication and Active Directory with Azure ADStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and document complex technical ideas using Visio and other Office applicationsExcel at troubleshooting and using logical methodologies for problem solvingAbility to prioritize work, perform work independently and proficientlyAbility to collaborate with team members on design and implementationMinimum of 6 years of networking experience preferably in a consulting environment to demonstrate ability to support multiple industriesRequired Education And Professional CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field or equivalent experienceActive CCNP – Enterprise (routing/switching) certification – (CCIE Preferred)Candidates will be required to complete and pass a technical test and lab as part of the selection processAdditional RequirementsAbility to successfully pass a drug screening and background investigationWillingness to undergo security clearance investigation if determined necessary for contract supportSalary And BenefitsBase salary range: $95k – $130kPaid holidaysVacation and sick leaveMedical/Dental/Vision BenefitsRetirement planFinancial support for training and certificationsThis position is eligible for performance-based bonuses
