We're building the AI systems to stop it, and we need an elite engineer to help ship them directly into the field.We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to architect and deploy agentic AI systems in direct support of U.S. Government partners. You'll embed with federal agencies, translate mission-critical requirements into working systems, and help identify fraudulent contractors before they drain public funds.About my client AI infrastructure for the companies of tomorrow. We build platforms combining decision intelligence and automation to help startups scale with speed and precision, turning raw data into clarity and clarity into execution.What you'll be doing:Build and deploy agentic AI systems including multi-agent frameworks, RAG pipelines, and tool-calling agents for high-stakes government missionsEmbed directly with federal agency partners to surface requirements and convert them into deployed technical systemsAnalyze public and walled government databases to identify fraudulent contractors and prevent future fraudulent spendingTravel locally across D.C. to government sites, including the Pentagon, with no cross-state travel requiredWhat we're looking for:2 to 6 years of experience, blending software engineering with AI/ML researchComfortable in partner-facing, high-ambiguity environmentsStrong hands-on experience with Python, LLMs, RAG, multi-agent frameworks, and distributed systemsThe details:Salary: $150K to $200K plus competitive equityLocation: DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia), 5 days on-site in McLean, VA, with travel to D.C. client sites
