Preparation for patient exams and clinical procedures include acquiring the patient's weight, blood pressure, heart rate and EKG to give to the provider for their review. The Medical Office Assistant will also be responsible for providing all support functions to include scheduling, registration/receptionist services for the Cardiology Clinic.ResponsibilitiesEDUCATIONAssociate's Degree as a Medical Assistant, or completed an equivalent training programrequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification. requiredCredential as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferredExperienceOne (1) year secretarial/receptionist experience in a hospital, primary care clinic or physician's office required.
