Clinical Center AssociateThis role is the heartbeat of our clinic operations. As a Clerical Support team member, you'll help create a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient and visitor who walks through our doors. From coordinating schedules to supporting care teams, your work helps ensure patients receive the right care at the right time. Your responsibilities will include:Greeting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalismAnswering phones, responding to questions, and directing inquiries appropriatelyScheduling appointments and helping manage clinic calendarsRecording and transcribing physician orders accuratelyAssisting with patient check-in processes, including co-pay collectionMaintaining organized and confidential patient informationSupporting your team with day-to-day administrative needsParticipating in team activities to improve how we serve patientsWe're looking for someone who is dependable, patient-focused, and ready to grow. Here's what you can expect:A mission-driven environment focused on improving livesOpportunities to learn and grow within a respected healthcare organizationA collaborative, supportive team cultureCompetitive starting pay of $24.39 per hourA comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being, and futureRequired Education and Experience:Medical Office Assistant Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; orAssociate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; orHigh School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; orHigh School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; orHigh School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
