We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about design and dedicated as a professional designer, experienced in leading a design team in mission and goal-driven projects to successful outcomes Attentive and excited to lead the team in the integrity of professional craftsmanship Drawn to and participation in the arts and culture scenes, and encouraging others to explore more creative and innovative thinking Concerned and involved in social and environmental issues surrounding our communities, leading the conversations in the team and the community Active in professional organizations, presenting and sharing ideas and professional experiences, guiding the organizations Engaged in communities, especially those historically marginalized or under-served, to understand and be trusted in the communities as a contributor Understanding of challenges facing the profession and seeking new ideas to bring opportunities Rooted in a teamwork environment to solve problems Demonstrating entrepreneurial understanding of managing the consulting-based design business Creative, collaborative leader, and able to contribute to our improvisational and transdisciplinary teamwork environment Excellent in critical thinking and organizational skills Excellent in people skills, empathetic, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and reciprocity thinking as a leader Strongly self-motivated, energetic, responsible, reliable, flexible, and resourceful Skills, Requirements, and Responsibilities: Bachelor's or Master's in Landscape Architecture or related field 10+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CC Suite, and rendering software (SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, etc.) xywuqvp Strong graphic communication and conceptual design skills Working knowledge of sustainable communities and green infrastructure practice Working knowledge of landscape design and construction; technically proficient with experience in construction documentation and detailing Experience in community engagement, participatory design, or public realm projects is a strong plus Experience in project and design studio management Experience in client management Excellent writing skills: reports, white paper presentation and other publications Experience in successful business development, public presentations, and interviews Licensure in Landscape Architecture Bilingual abilities desired Fluency in written and spoken English is required
