New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.CompensationSalary for the 2026-2027 school year will be based on Board approved salary schedule.Starting Pay (Step 0): $15.03/hourExperienced Pay (Step 10): $17.94/hourPay is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months; 4 paychecks at end of June.BenefitsRetirement: Membership in the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA).Life Insurance: Total $50,000 (20,000 paid by State of Kentucky, 30,000 by BCPS).Health Coverage: Comprehensive Health Insurance (employee premium based on plan selected) or Waiver HRA options.Time Off: Sick Leave, Personal Leave, and Emergency Leave (prorated).
