Job DescriptionSenior Litigation Attorney - General LiabilityLocation: Boise, ID Practice Focus: General Liability DefensePosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and strategic advocate with 5+ years of experience to join our premier General Liability Practice Group. This role is designed for a litigator who specializes in defending complex liability actions and providing superior legal counsel to a diverse client base.We are committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality legal representation that is specifically tailored to the unique goals and defense needs of each client.The Role & ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will lead the defense for a variety of general liability matters, managing cases through every phase of the litigation lifecycle.Full-Cycle Case Management: Oversee all aspects of defense from initial claim investigation and responsive pleadings through final resolution.Strategic Litigation: Draft and argue substantive motions, conduct expert and lay depositions, and develop creative defense theories.Dispute Resolution: Represent clients in mediation and arbitration to reach favorable settlements where appropriate.Trial & Appellate Advocacy: Provide lead representation in trial proceedings and handle any subsequent appellate work.Client Consultation: Maintain proactive communication with adjusters and corporate stakeholders to ensure defense strategies align with business objectives.Candidate RequirementsExperience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in general liability defense.Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.Licensure: Active member in good standing with the Idaho State Bar.Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, a polished courtroom presence, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Compensation & BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package.Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 per year (commensurate with experience and trial history).Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.Financial Planning: 401(k) retirement plan options and Life Insurance coverage.Disability Coverage: Short-term and Long-term disability insurance.Time Off: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.How to ApplyJoin a team where your expertise in general liability defense is the primary focus.
