As an Environmental FieldTesting Technician Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals to perform stack emissions testing at industrial facilities.This role involves outdoor work, often at elevated heights, and travel to customer locations throughout your region or state. If you enjoy being active, working with your hands, and learning in the field-not behind a desk-this internship is for you.What You'll Learn & DoWith handson training and mentorship, interns will assist with and learn to independently perform:Stack emissions testing, including equipment preparation, deployment, sample collection, and breakdownSafe transport and setup of testing equipment at customer sitesProper use of testing methods, procedures, and quality standardsBasic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of testing systemsProfessional onsite conduct while working directly with customersHighperforming interns may have opportunities for advancement into fulltime roles.QualificationsRequired:Valid driver's licenseWillingness to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to climb ladders and stairs and work at elevated heightsAbility to lift equipment up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasksAbility to distinguish between shades of color (required for safety)Preferred:Coursework or degree in environmental science, engineering, mechanical sciences, or a related fieldExperience or interest in environmental sampling, mechanical, construction, or electrical workComfort using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe productsStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical systemsPayHourly Pay: $18 per hour, based on qualifications and experienceIn compliance with applicable Pay Transparency laws, compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.Why Alliance Technical Group?Paid, handson internship with real field experienceRecessionproof industry with strong growth potentialClear career progression and advancement opportunitiesWork that makes a measurable environmental impactApply today and start building a meaningful career in environmental testing.Alliance Technical Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
