Payroll & Billing Specialist

Location: Rockville Centre, NYSalary: $60,000 - $70,000Job SummaryDoyle Security, Inc. (DSS) a leading regional security company seeks a STRONG PAYROLL and billing analyst working out of our Corporate Office (Rockville Centre, NY). The position will be supporting a growing payroll and billing department and is responsible for all payroll and billing operations of the company. An ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail, along with outstanding analytical and numerical skills. Must be organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Should have strong verbal and written communication skill.Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited ToProvide payroll and scheduling support to Account Managers and ManagementReview and verify weekly payroll and billing for accuracy. Multiple divisions and states for over 1000 employees, which includes Union employeesInput direct deposits and other deductions into the payroll systemReview and analyze payroll and billing reports to confirm all rates are accurateGenerate weekly and monthly invoices and input them into QuickBooksPrepare weekly Payroll reports for managementSet up new customers in TrackTik which includes weekly schedule, pay and bill ratesAnswer employee questions or complaints regarding payroll and process correctionsCarry out payroll and billing duties as assigned by supervisorCompetenciesMUST have Payroll experience and security payroll a plusAbility to track and maintain assignmentsStrong computer skills - proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and QuickBooksExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to take initiative and achieve resultsDetail oriented and able to carry out multiple assignments concurrentlyCommitted to working collaboratively to achieve the required objective, a team playerEducation & Equivalent ExperienceAccounting or Finance degree preferredMinimum of 3 years prior payroll experienceKnowledge of QuickBooks a must, plus Excel, Word, and OutlookTrackTik Payroll SystemPaycor Payroll SystemUnion experience preferred but not requiredBenefitsMedical/Vision/Dental401KPaid Time offFree employee life InsuranceEmployee training and developmentEOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability Doyle Security Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.Salary: $60000 - $70000 per yearJob Posted by ApplicantPro
