Engineering Test TechLocation: Monroe, WAJob ID: #72128Pay Range: $42-48 an hour6+ month contractJob DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Engineering Test Technician will be responsible for supporting all aspects of assembly, validation, and qualification testing of both hydraulic and electromechanical actuation products.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Fabrication, Assembly & use of test fixtures and test rigsAssemble and test hydraulic actuators and electro-mechanical actuatorsAcceptance testing of hydraulic and/or electromechanical productsEnsure calibration and certification of all instrumentation utilized for testCoordinate maintenance activities related to the test areaSupport external testing activities at labs when necessaryPerform basic machining operations using drill press, Bridgeport mill, manual deburr and polishingEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Associate degree preferred in:* Mechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical discipline, or equivalent job experience preferred.* Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and proficiency in the use of drawings, specifications, basic math, computer, technical and mechanical skills.QUALIFICATIONS:Familiarity with AS9100 Quality SystemBlueprint reading and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancesDemonstrated technical capabilities working in a team environmentAbility to use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.Ability to handle fast paced environmentAttention to detail and a high level of accuracyMinimum 1 year experience in assembly, test, & troubleshooting of electromechanical & hydraulic actuation products or related mechanical experience required.
