Our technicians are the face of Seegrid that provide exceptional onsite service and timely resolutions for our customers located across the country. The Field Service Technician role is responsible for customer support, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring AMRs operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.The Field Service Technician role is fully remote and may require up to 80% travel.Responsibilities Include:Possess a unique combination of hands-on problem solving, analytical thinking and a customer-service spiritManage and conduct all on-site troubleshooting, repair and testing tasks for powered industrial trucks, robotic and vision guided systemsPerform routine maintenance tasks to improve reliability and prevent failuresWork with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environmentCoach customer staff on safety, equipment operation and maintenance best practicesMaintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materialsRemain prepared for customer service calls which most likely require travel on short noticeTake ownership on-going skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainingsFollow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environmentRequired Qualifications:High school diplomaProven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar positionAbility to work long hours in noisy and busy environmentsAbility to lift 50 poundsStrong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfactionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood technical knowledge of Windows; proficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to travel extensively both domestically and internationally and maintain a clean driving record - Passport is requiredMust be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervisionDesirable Qualifications:Technical certification or associates degree preferredExperience with LinuxSeegrid has been recognized as a Best-Place-to-Work.
