Flint Hyde is proud to continue our partnership with a truly industry-leading automation technology platform, a company that everyone in the market looks to for leadership and inspiration.In the midst of a period of transformational change, they are looking for a Web Director who will own their entire global web ecosystem, creating the "Website of the Future".Role Overview:The Web Director owns the global ecosystem and related web properties, ensuring a world-class digital experience from first click to lead conversion.This role blends web strategy, technology, UX/UI, and web data — leveraging AI-driven personalization, AEO, and CMS optimization to deliver measurable business results.Key Responsibilities:1. Web Strategy & Digital Experience:Define and execute global web and digital experience strategy aligned with brand and ABM goals.Designs EAO/GEO strategy and the roadmap to move from CMS to CHMSBuild a seamless, customer-centric navigation journeyLead initiatives to personalize the digital experience using AI-driven content recommendations and behavioural data.2. Content & Conversion Optimization:Oversee global content delivery and localization across all digital channels.Apply AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, chatbots, and content optimization platforms) to enhance engagement and conversion.Partner with IT, brand, content, campaign and product marketing teams to bring consistent, high-performing (landing) web pages live on time and on quality, mobile first3. AEO, Analytics & Tagging:Lead global AEO and tagging strategy, ensuring proper data capture and performance insights.Use AI-assisted AEO tools to optimize organic performance and keyword targeting.Translate data into actionable insights to drive ongoing improvement in visibility and engagement.4. CMS & Martech Integration:Ensure seamless integration between CMS, CRM, and analytics tools for lead tracking and nurturing.Partner with the ABM and paid media teams to align data flows and optimize conversion paths.5. CMS Ownership & Innovation:Own CMS operations (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar), ensuring scalability, localization, and strong UX.Champion AI-enhanced content management, including tagging automation, asset recommendations, and performance prediction.Collaborate with IT and external vendors on technical development and system improvements.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of experience in CMS management, web strategy, and digital experience management — ideally in B2B technology or industrial automation.Excellent project management skillsProven expertise in:HubSpot CMS and Marketing HubAEO and Google Tag ManagerWebsite analytics (GA4, Looker Studio, HubSpot)CMS systems (WordPress, Sitecore, etc.)AI tools for content and optimization (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Mutiny, or Adobe Sensei)Experience leading global web operations, managing agencies, and collaborating with cross-functional marketing and IT teams.People management skillsKey Competencies:Deep understanding of digital customer web interaction experience and AI-driven personalization.Analytical and data-driven mindset with creative problem-solving ability.Clear, persuasive communicator who can translate complex data into business impact.Strong leadership, project management, and vendor management skills.Flint Hyde anticipates a high number of applications for this position, and as such we cannot commit to responding to every applicant.We will aim to respond to successful applicants within a 7-day window.
