1st Shift Production (Entry Level)

We are hiring entry-level Production Laborers to support our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role where effort, attention to detail, and reliability make a direct impact on daily production goals. Requirements Position Breakdown:Understand the flow of work between all areas in the Finishing department including: Coater, Insert, and Steam, coupling Assembly, and Test Table. Understand the production schedule. Know how to safely and properly handle (and lift) materials and jackets in all areas. Operate Machinery at an acceptable rate. Keep all areas, machines, and floors clean. Required Skills and Ability:Employee must be physically able to work in areas so as to not harm themselves or others, and must be able to safely use machinery and tools. Understand and verify quality through the use of gauges, tools, specs, and charts. Employee must understand how to fill out all paperwork for all areas. Must work well as a team. Employee must be able to communicate with the lead, quality tech, or supervisor any issues they may find that affects the performance of the area, or product. Skill level - entry level. Other activities as designated by supervisor. Strength Requirements:Medium Up to 50lbs of force exerted occasionally, and up to 20lbs frequently, up to 10lbs constantly. Work Environment:Employee may be exposed to wet and humid conditions and Dust/Fumes/Gas and Chemicals. Employee may need to work around extreme heat and moving machinery. Education/Training Requirement:High School Diploma, or GED required. Salary Description15.50
