Apply now: Google Workspace & Chromebook AdministratorJob Title: Google Workspace & Chromebook AdministratorLocation-Type: RemoteStart Date: ASAPDuration: Contract (length to be confirmed)Compensation Range: $69-84/hrBenefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401KVisa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorshipJob Description:This role serves as the primary Google ecosystem expert within a predominantly Microsoft 365 environment, owning the full lifecycle of a large-scale Chromebook and Google Workspace infrastructure for the client's hospitality and facilities operation.Job Summary•Own day-one deployment and ongoing administration of the client's Google Chromebook infrastructure, scaling from hundreds to thousands of devices•Build and maintain multiple device profiles including standard user and kiosk mode configurations across Chromebooks and Chrome boxes•Manage device lifecycle including security policies, compliance enforcement, OS updates, and hardware procurement from vendors such as Lenovo, Dell, and Acer•Administer Google Workspace user accounts, enterprise application licensing, and Gemini AI tool persona management with appropriate security controls•Monitor stock levels, manage asset inventory, and coordinate chargebacks in partnership with the asset management team•Create and maintain support documentation for service desk use across levels 1 through 3•Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management and the M365 team to ensure aligned IT operationsMinimum Requirements:•3 years of hands-on Google Workspace and Google Admin console experience•Demonstrated experience managing Chromebook fleets at scale (hundreds to thousands of devices)•Proficiency in device profile configuration including kiosk mode and Chrome box management•Experience with user and license management within a Google enterprise environment•Proven ability to create technical documentation for service desk and end-user supportPreferred Qualifications:•Experience operating as the primary Google resource within a Microsoft-dominant IT environment•Familiarity with Gemini AI tools and enterprise AI persona management•Experience managing vendor relationships and hardware procurement across multiple OEMs•Background in asset management, chargeback processes, or IT inventory systems
