As a hands-on individual contributor, you will build customer-facing UI experiences, integrate backend APIs, and leverage AI-assisted tools to deliver quality features at pace.EPAM is where tech talent thrives—building groundbreaking solutions, advancing your skills through world-class learning platforms, and working alongside a global community of problem-solvers to make the future real.Req# 1040985378 ResponsibilitiesBuild customer-facing product features with a UI-first approach using React and Next.js to deliver modern, performant experiencesImplement and integrate backend APIs and microservices that power UI workflows and support reliable platform functionalityCollaborate with product managers and engineering leads to shape requirements into executable epics and lightweight prototypesWrite clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and team knowledge sharingSupport operational excellence through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring practices, and incident response as neededUse AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code to accelerate delivery without requiring AI specialization Requirements5 or more years of experience building and supporting production software in a professional engineering environmentStrong hands-on experience with modern frontend development, including React, Next.js, or comparable UI frameworksSolid REST API integration skills with foundational knowledge of distributed systems and microservices patternsExperience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases within production application environmentsPractical experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies across the software development lifecycleComfort incorporating AI-assisted developer tools into daily coding workflows to improve delivery speed and output quality EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $110,000 - $153,000.
