Information Technology Junior/Senior Student InternshipWe are seeking one Information Technology Junior/Senior student to participate in our Summer Internship program with the option to continue through the Fall. We require a minimum of 20 hours per week with Tuesdays and Thursdays being required days.The selected student will be working in the Information Technology department with the support of our dedicated IT team who will be providing mentorship along with our many team members. Below is a partial list of tasks/projects on which the student will be working:Troubleshooting Windows and Linux systemsTroubleshooting printers and scannersConfigure and deploy new computersBasic knowledge in computer repairTroubleshooting hardware/software issuesDocument current work processesAble to terminate ethernet cables (T-568A and T-568B)Communication between departments and escalating issues in a timely mannerManaging a delegated AD (Active Directory) OUBasic networking (physical and wireless) issuesThe ideal candidate will be working towards a 2- or 4-year degree in Information Technology at an accredited institution, have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and the ability to multitask. The candidate must be familiar with TCP/IP suite and have the physical ability to climb ladders and run network lines.This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
