OR - Surgical Specialist Clinic RN - Days/5 week contract

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEProvides safe, quality nursing care under the direction of Samaritan Health Services practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor for patients within scope of practice. Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONSHS Surgical Specialists provide general, vascular, thoracic, breast and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. NOTE: This position is for outpatient/clinic setting not hospital. The manager is looking for someone to be in clinic, at GSR Surgical to support vascular. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required upon submission.Healthcare Provider BLS required.Experience or training with computer applications preferred.
