The teaching load for a Lecturer is 12 credits for the academic year.Requirements• Provide instruction in Health Enhancement (physical education and health courses)• Perform academic advising• Provide service to the department, college and university• Perform faculty responsibilities to ensure compliance with NCATE accreditationRequired Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & SkillsQualifications Required• Earned master's degree or bachelor's with substantial experience• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or Health Enhancement• Previous experience teaching K-12 Physical Education or Health Enhancement• Effective oral and written communication skills• Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleaguesPreferred Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & SkillsQualifications Preferred• Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the college/university level• Experience with student advising• Experience with NCATE accreditationThe Successful Candidate WillSpecial RequirementsApplicants will be reviewed and interviewed on an ongoing basis after the screening date.
