Required Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills * Doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, from a CACREP-accredited program or have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before Ju ly,1, 2013. Applicants studying in counselor education who are ABD will be considered for this position.• Experience in college/ university teaching graduate and undergraduate courses and clinical education• Commitment to developing and teaching online courses• Evidence of potential for scholarly productivity• Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty, professional staff, and persons from diverse backgrounds• Eligibility for Montana Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Preferred Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills * Interest in addictions counseling and willingness to pursue Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) licensing in Montana.• Expertise in the fields of addiction, rehabilitation counseling, and/or mental health counseling• Experience in advising students• A commitment to scientist-practitioner philosophy with experience in implementation of CACREP accreditation standards• Eligibility for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) The Successful Candidate Will Special Requirements This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
