The selected candidate may support either a junior high setting (7th–8th grade) or an elementary setting (K–4th grade), depending on district needs and candidate experience.This role requires a strong understanding of special education processes, compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a school setting.Assignment Details:Position: School Psychologist (1 Opening)Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours per weekEstimated Dates: August 18, 2026 – June 4, 2027Potential Placements:Junior High (7th–8th grade)Elementary (K–4th grade)Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessmentsParticipate in IEP, 504, domain, eligibility determination, and manifestation determination meetingsCollaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teamsSupport MTSS implementation and intervention planningMaintain compliance with IDEA and Illinois special education regulationsComplete documentation and reporting within required timelinesRequirementsActive Illinois School Psychologist license/certification (or ability to obtain)Strong knowledge of IDEA and Illinois special education rules and regulationsExperience with:MTSS processesSpecial education timelines and complianceManifestation DeterminationsScheduling and facilitating domain meetings, EDCs, and ARsIEPs, 504s, DS, and MTSS systemsExperience using:Q-globalFastBridgeGoogle DocsPrevious school-based experience preferredStrong organizational, communication, and collaboration skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay (based on experience)Weekly direct depositFull school-year contract stabilityMedical, dental, and vision benefit options401(k) eligibilityDedicated recruiter support throughout the assignmentOpportunity to work within a collaborative educational environmentIf this opportunity isn't the perfect fit, let's still connect.
