This role is fast-paced and requires quick execution. The ideal candidate is conceptual and a social-media and digital-focused creative with a passion for making an impact on culture.**This role is remote but requires candidates to be based in Los Angeles****This is a 3-month contract opportunity kicking-off in Mid-May with the potential to transition into a full-time role**Role DescriptionConcept, shoot, produce and edit attention-grabbing social content for Instagram and TikTok.Collaborate in brainstorms with Strategy and Creative teams to deliver bold, on-brand ideas.Capture high-quality video on iPhone and DSLR, with strong composition, lighting, and clarity.Lead all editing across video content, applying platform-native techniques and best practices.Craft videos with a sharp sense of story, pacing, and visual composition.Stay fluent in social trends, formats, hooks, and algorithms across platforms.Drive reactive content that taps into trends, cultural moments, and brand opportunities.Own projects end-to-end from concept through final delivery (styling, props, shooting, lighting, editing, etc).Stay ahead of cultural trends, constantly driving fresh ideas, formats, and content styles that feel distinct.Qualifications1-3 years of developing strategic creative for a social AOR or brand social account.Portfolio Required: A portfolio showcasing brand social content is a must. Expertise of social platforms (e.g. TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Snap, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitch, Discord, etc).Experience working onsite at events or shoots (video or photography) including on-the-fly art direction and talent management.Experience using handheld DSLR, phone, and/or video cameras to capture candid, unscripted, and scripted video and still content.Demonstrated ability to push beyond direct feedback to come up with interesting concepts and solutions.Self-starter who can pick up a project and run with it through to completion, but knows when to tap into and collaborate with other departments and teams for support.Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for social-first storytelling and ability to work across all mediums.A creative problem solver who embraces the ever-evolving and fast-paced world of social media trends, internet memes, and technology.Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.Proficient in Keynote, Google Suite, and Adobe CS.
