Supporting millions of customers daily across e-commerce, supply chain, and in-store technology platforms, this organization is investing heavily in cloud security, automation, and enterprise-scale risk reduction.As a GCP Cloud Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the security posture of large-scale public cloud environments. You'll work on high-impact initiatives including secure-by-default cloud architecture, Policy-as-Code, CSPM modernization, and automated risk remediation.If you're passionate about building secure, scalable cloud solutions and want to influence security strategy across a complex enterprise environment, we'd like to connect with you.What You'll Be DoingDesign Secure Cloud FoundationsCreate and maintain secure cloud architecture patterns and reference implementations across GCP, Azure, and AWS.Develop reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure automation that enable secure cloud adoption at scale.Partner with engineering teams to embed security controls early in the development lifecycle.Modernize Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)Lead evaluation, implementation, and optimization of enterprise CSPM capabilities.Leverage Wiz to identify, prioritize, and reduce cloud security risks.Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and security teams to improve cloud visibility and governance.Advance Policy-as-CodeDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise Policy-as-Code frameworks using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.Build reusable policy libraries that automate compliance and enforce secure deployment standards.Integrate policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines and cloud workflows.Drive Measurable Risk ReductionIdentify security gaps and partner with engineering teams to develop scalable remediation strategies.Implement automated controls that strengthen governance while minimizing operational friction.Improve the organization's overall cloud security maturity through engineering-driven solutions.Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or cloud security with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in enterprise environments.Current Google Cloud Professional certification.Proven experience building and maintaining Policy-as-Code solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.Experience creating reusable policy libraries that enforce cloud security and compliance requirements.Hands-on experience with Wiz or similar Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platforms.3+ years of experience developing and maintaining production Terraform code.Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD practices, and cloud automation.Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, and security architecture.Experience designing secure cloud deployment patterns and implementing enterprise cloud security controls.Ability to analyze complex security challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions.BenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
