If that sounds nice we'd love to have you be a part of it.We're looking for an entrepreneurial, resourceful, driven, and strategic sales and partnerships lead focused on the United States and Canada who can help us build important industry relationships and coalitions, get meetings with decision-makers and strategic relationships, manage and close qualified revenue-producing opportunities, and evangelize our platform and mission. This is a key early role with for an aspiring sales, business development, and partnerships leader or professional, and an opportunity to work closely with the CEO and product team to improve product-market fit and customer/partner relationships. We've already started receiving inbound leads and winning customers in the EU, and now we want to invest in growing our presence and success further.It's also a great opportunity to learn and become an expert in ESG (environmental social governance), sustainability, and positive social impact - themes that are gaining increasing cultural relevance and mindshare among companies.You'll be expected to manage and be a part of sales and deal conversations end-to-end, including prospecting, meetings, relationship-building, discovery and needs analysis, customer development, and working with leadership to help close and build successful partnerships.In many ways this is an open-ended opportunity (really what you make of it), but will include:We're building modern, AI-powered software to help sustainability teams and organizations work faster, better, and more efficiently. Help us profile and identify target customers and market segments, prospect, build relationships, and grow our relationship and customer network. You'll get commission on any customers or partnerships you source or create, and we'll support you every step of the way.Pipeline-building, prospecting, and outreach, working with our GTM teamCommunicate our values and benefits, build trust, and overcome objections. Be the public face of Brightest. Participate in conferences, events, and be a company spokesperson and evangelist.Strategic pipeline, relationship, deal support, management, and forecasting.Work with Brightest leadership on our partnership ecosystem strategy and execution.Be the voice of the customer and help us shape our product strategy to match customer needs and challenges.Who you are (what we're looking for): 1-5 years of sales, business development, or corporate partnerships experiencePassion for social impact, environmental sustainability, ESG, and climate actionShould ideally be based in the United States, Canada, or a compatible time zoneStrong persuasive communication and public speaking skillsEnglish fluency required, bonus if you speak other languages (i.e., Spanish, French, etc.)An interest in building a career in sales, business development, or partnershipsYou're social, a thoughtful communicator, a natural networker, and you know how to build a high-quality pipeline from inbound opportunities and outbound prospectingYou're competitive, coachable, organized, and self-disciplined.
