Demand PlannerLocation- Hybrid 3-4 days per week in Fridley, MNThis will play a key role in aligning customer demand with operational capabilities. This position is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing sales and market trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal inventory levels that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work closely with sales, operations, and leadership to support the company's overall supply chain strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesForecasting & Demand PlanningDevelop, maintain, and improve short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market insightsAnalyze sales trends, customer behavior, and product lifecycle patterns to improve forecast accuracyMonitor forecast performance (accuracy, bias) and implement continuous improvement initiativesManage demand planning activities related to new product launches, promotions, and product phase-outsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with sales, marketing, operations, planning, and finance to align demand assumptions and incorporate market intelligenceFacilitate regular Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) demand reviews, presenting insights and validating planning assumptionsCommunicate forecast changes, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders across the organizationInventory ManagementTranslate demand forecasts into inventory requirements to support product availability while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescenceSupport safety stock and reorder point planning in collaboration with operations and supply chain teamsMonitor inventory levels, backorders, and customer service metrics to identify and resolve supply issuesData Analysis & ReportingPrepare and present demand planning reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership and operational teamsIdentify demand drivers, trends, and forecast deviations and recommend corrective actionsMaintain data integrity within ERP/MRP systems and demand planning toolsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsStrong understanding of ERP systems such as Visual, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics (Infor Visual experience a plus)Knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, and global logistics is beneficialStrong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPointRequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related roleExperience with forecasting models, demand planning tools, and ERP systemsExperience supporting S&OP processes preferredExperience within a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment preferred
