Crushing Recycle Equipment Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Equipment Operator to join our recycled aggregate and portable crushing operation. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in aggregate production, portable crushing, screening, or recycled concrete/asphalt processing environments.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, skid steers, and other aggregate processing equipmentAssist with portable crushing and screening operationsFeed crushers and maintain material flow efficiently and safelyPerform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenanceIdentify and report mechanical issues or safety concernsAssist with setup, tear down, and relocation of portable crushing spreadsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and MSHA/OSHA regulationsQualificationsExperience in portable crushing, quarry, aggregate, or recycled aggregate operations preferredKnowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors, and material handling equipmentAbility to perform basic maintenance and minor repairsExperience operating loaders and excavators requiredMechanical aptitude strongly preferredDependable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsValid driver’s license requiredMSHA certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, climbing, bending, kneeling Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Work in outdoor environments with heat, cold, dust, and noise Exposure to moving equipment and vibrating machinery Work ScheduleFull-time: 40+ hours/week Weekend work as needed Daytime hours with occasional early mornings or extended shifts SUNROCK OFFERSNewly hired team members receive competitive compensation package, comprehensive medical benefits, company paid dental, company paid life insurance, company paid long term disability, voluntary short term disability, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity insurance, voluntary supplemental life insurance and whole life insurance, 401K with employer match, 8 paid holidays and 3 weeks paid time off (increases with service to 5 weeks).About UsSunrock Industries prides itself on being a privately-held, family-owned construction materials supplier and contractor for over 75 years.
