Title – Sr. Flight Control Software Developer Location – Carson, CA Length of Contract – 6-12 Months Hours: 40 hours per week Start - 9/29 Interview Process – 2 Rounds Technical interview (MS Teams) Onsite Interview USC’s or Green Cards Only Drug Test & Background Check Required Details – Oxford’s client is looking for a software engineer to do development and customizations to the autopilot control stack for their vertical takeoff applications. This would include control algorithms and custom flight modes pending mission requirements, parameter optimization, and autopilot integrations related to other systems (computer vision/navigation/etc.). A background in robotics, kinetics is a big plus. Skills – strong C++ (14+) Simulation with Aircraft Flight Control Systems for Vertical Takeoff applications (VTOL) Simulation exp like Gazebo or jMAVSim ROS2 or Aerospace exp Pluses – MAVLINK protocol exp.
