OSP Engineer

OSP Inspector - II Irvine, CA Contract Responsibilities: Oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual field work, which includes excavations, boring, placement of hand-holes, aerial strand and fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration (sod, etc) of work areas per VZ standards Must be knowledgeable in outside plant construction. Line, splicing and substructure. Knowledge of State, Federal, OSHA, NEC codes is a must. Working knowledge of 3GIS, Google Earth or other industry standard geospatial applications. General computer application skills required (MSOffice applications, Adobe, GSuite, etc.). Advises contractors of violations and recommends adjustments to work operations Applies vast knowledge of OSP construction methods, practices, and safety guidelines. Must be local to Irvine, CA at the time of submission. Job Type: Contract Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Experience: OSP: 3 years (Preferred) 3GIS or Google Earth: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
