Duties include general clerical, receptionist, customer service/purchasing duties and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.Responsibilities:Field incoming calls and transfer to appropriate associate, answer all routine and non-routine questions, or take messages and direct to appropriate contactType and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, reports etc. utilizing Microsoft OfficeSchedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, food orders and department activities for members of the Savage locationGreeting visitors at the front desk and making sure they sign in and out of the visitor logbook. This also requires you to contact the associate(s) they are visitingPurchasing supplies for production shop & warehouse when requiredStocking breakroom & conference room supplies daily. Managing office supply inventory and ordering as supplies as neededSort through and distribute mail for various departments dailyConfirm if any voicemails were received and direct them to the appropriate person via email or follow up verballySet up and run reports within Trend system when requested/as requiredWork independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projectsVery experienced in Microsoft Office programs, internet, high importance on skill level of ExcelWork with production scheduler to build up work order packets with assembly drawings and labels dailyOther various duties to be jointly determined as required. General Education and Experience:Education – High school diploma/GED required, associate’s degree preferredExperience – 1-3 years of administrative support with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Previous experience in self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
