We’re a fast-growing Seed stage with an entrepreneurial team, a strong technology backbone, and a deep respect for the craft of construction.Position Summary:We’re seeking an experienced Controller to own the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance functions as we scale. This role will ensure the integrity of our financial data, streamline cross-functional processes, and enable leadership to make data-driven decisions with confidence.The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with operational savvy — someone who can move seamlessly from daily reconciliations to building a scalable close process and supporting strategic planning.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & ReportingOversee all accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, and general ledger.Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely, accurate financials.Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership and board review.Manage consolidated reporting across multiple entities and business units.Partner with Exec Management to support forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking.Accounting Systems & Process OptimizationManage integrations across Zoho, QuickBooks, payroll providers, and banking portals to ensure data integrity.Streamline and document accounting workflows, approvals, and reconciliation processes.Implement internal controls and accounting policies aligned with GAAP.Identify and execute process improvements to shorten close cycles and reduce manual work.Cash Flow & OperationsManage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and vendor payment schedules.Oversee AR collections, credit card programs, and expense management systems.Support revenue recognition policies and cost tracking for marketplace and enterprise projects.Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with tax filings, state registrations, and reporting obligations.Manage relationships with auditors, tax preparers, and banking partners.Maintain accurate documentation for diligence and financing activities.Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, procurement, and sales to ensure financial visibility across the business.Support leadership with insights to guide strategic decisions.Develop and mentor finance staff as the team grows.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).7+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.Proven experience managing AR/AP, cash flow, and month-end close in a high-growth or multi-entity environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and cost accounting.Expertise with QuickBooks Online, Zoho, and related financial systems.Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving systems and structures.What You’ll Love About GoSourceMission-driven team redefining how construction gets done.High-impact role shaping the financial foundation of a growing company.Collaborative, transparent culture that values craft and innovation.Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
