Speech Language Pathologist Location: Marshfield, MO Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,080 to $2,240 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $52.00 - $56.00/Hourly. Summary: A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting evaluates, diagnoses, and treats residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP develops individualized treatment plans, monitors progress, and collaborates with healthcare staff to improve residents’ communication and swallowing function, enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities: Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Assesses patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the speech disorders. Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements. Requirements Requirements: 1 year of SLP experience Required. Long Term Care (LTC) or SNF experience Required. MO State License Required. (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) CCC certified SLP Required. 3 years experience holding active CCS Preferred.
