Senior Engineering Program Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Program/Project Engineer - Hybrid role for a 12+ months Contract position with a client located in Phoenix, AZ.Pay Range: $55/hr. - $64/hr. On W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Responsibilities:Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates.Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project.Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.Contain scope growth though robust baseline change management.Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.The ideal candidate has a commitment to aviation safety, technical and professional excellence, a commitment to customer satisfaction and growth, demonstrates leadership and delivers on results, has a global mindset and is able to foster teamwork and diversity, demonstrates personal and professional integrity, has strong oral and written communication skills, is able to work across functional boundaries at multiple levels, and can establish strong working relationships within internal/external customers and the certification agencies.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related fieldMinimum 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles in the Aerospace industry.Preferred:Previous experience developing commercial or military avionics systems like Military/Commercial TCAS or ADS-B TransponderProject Management Professional Certification (PMP)Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.Passion for innovation and continuous learning.Willingness to travel to customer and internal company meetings both domestic and international.Advanced degree preferred.If you are interested in this Sr Advanced Program/Project Engineer - Hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ then please click APPLY NOW.
