Lima, OH (zip 45801) is a welcoming community with affordable living, parks, and easy access to local attractions—ideal for travel nursing jobs in Ohio./n/nJob Details/n/nPosition: Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN) / Telemetry Nurse/nWeekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890/nLocation: Lima, Ohio (zip 45801) — Ohio travel nurse opportunity/nAssignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)/nShift: 12-hour nights/nHours per Week: 36/nEmployment Type: Travel RN / travel nursing job/nUnit: 6K General MS/Tele and Renal (28 beds) — medical-surgical telemetry / renal care/n/n/nRequired Qualifications/n/nMinimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care (telemetry or medical-surgical experience preferred)/nCurrent RN license in Ohio or Compact State (Ohio nursing license preferred)/nBLS and ACLS certifications required/nDysrhythmia Exam required (study guide available)/nTelemetry nursing skills: cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition/nPreferred: CAPD experience; experience managing Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin drips; advanced respiratory modalities (Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula)/nEPIC EHR experience preferred (EPIC experience is a plus for telemetry nurses)/n/n/nTelemetry RN Responsibilities/n/nPerform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans/nMonitor and interpret telemetry continuously; read and document telemetry every 4 hours in EPIC/nAdminister medications safely and accurately; manage cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin)/nCare for patients with multi-system organ failure, multisystem trauma, and complex medical-surgical needs/nUtilize advanced respiratory modalities (Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula) and provide ventilatory support as needed/nCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams, serve as patient advocate, and provide education to patients and families/nMaintain patient safety, infection control, and participate in quality improvement and telemetry nursing initiatives/nDemonstrate strong communication, adaptability, clinical judgment, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment/n/n/nEnjoy a rewarding travel nursing job in Lima, Ohio—an accessible community with excellent amenities and outdoor recreation.
