DescriptionJob Summary:Support Insulators in installing and maintaining insulation on various structures and equipment. Assist with material preparation, workspace setup, and ensuring projects proceed safely and efficiently.Material PreparationGather and prepare insulation materials.Cut and shape materials as needed.Workspace PreparationSet up equipment and prepare surfaces for insulation.Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment to access work areas. Installation AssistanceHold insulation materials in place while Insulators secure them with staples, tape, or other fasteners. Assist Insulators in applying insulation materials to pipes, ductwork, boilers, tanks, and other structures. Safety ComplianceFollow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Cleanup And MaintenanceMaintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors. Work collaboratively with other Insulator Helpers and Insulators to complete projects on schedule. RequirementsAbility to follow instructions and work well in a team.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.Attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
