Estimating Coordinator

Company: Acutron LLC Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Estimating Coordinator to join our team and assist in preparing cost estimates for mechanical insulation and firestopping. Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret construction blueprints, project plans, specifications, and project documentsAssist in preparing accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipmentConduct site visits as needed to gather project informationCommunicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to clarify project requirementsMaintain organized records of estimates and project documentationGeneral administrative duties supporting the estimating departmentAssist in tracking bid schedules, proposal deadlines, and estimating workflow prioritiesSupport lead estimator and project management teams with coordination, documentation, and project-related task as needed Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprintsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness to learn and grow within the companyHigh proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong numerical and analytical skillsFamiliarity with construction estimating software, i.e., Bluebeam, preferredKnowledge of mechanical insulation and firestopping, a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively with office and field personnel in a team-oriented environmentDemonstrated reliability, including regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with an ability to meet project deadlinesAbility to maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor and conduct oneself with integrity Education, Training, and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious work experience in construction, estimating, or administrative support preferred Benefits:Competitive compensation packageRetirement savings options, including ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), 401(k) with employer matchingHealth and Wellness: Medical & dental insurance, flex spending account (FSA), group life insuranceTime off and Work-Life Balance: Paid holidays & PTOProfessional development opportunities About Us Acutron, LLC is the largest locally-owned and operated mechanical insulation and firestopping company in the State of Hawaii.
