EHS Manager

EHS ManagerPosition OverviewThe EHS Manager will oversee the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and to promote a safe workplace. This role is essential in driving initiatives that improve workplace safety and environmental performance within the manufacturing facility, particularly in the metals industry.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.Lead training sessions for employees on EHS best practices and emergency response procedures.Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization.Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.Stay updated on relevant EHS regulations and industry trends, ensuring the company is compliant with all applicable laws.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices.Experience in the metals industry, particularly in manufacturing/industrial processes like tubing and welding is preferred but not required.Certification as a Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) or similar is a plus.Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage all levels of staff.Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.BenefitsCompetitive compensation401k w/matchPTORelocation assistanceMuch more!Seniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: ManufacturingIndustries: Staffing and RecruitingJ-18808-Ljbffr
