Computer Science or equivalentMaster's degree is a plus5+ years application development or systems administration experience5+ years of development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C++, Perl, PythonExperience deploying or managing open-source softwareGood experience with any Linux distribution2+ year experience with Kafka with Confluent, or open source distributions2+ year experience with KafkaDatabase administration experience a plusSkills and Knowledge:Hands on working experience with KafkaDemonstrated experience devops contributionsCertification and working experience in a NoSQL databaseGood background in Linux/Unix AdministrationAgile Scrum or Kanban experience – Working experience within an agile teamGlobal team experienceExperience with automation/configuration management using Chef, Puppet or an equivalentProgramming in CI/CD technologies requiredKnowledge crafting scalable distributed systemsAwareness of both current and developing technologies
