We are committed to amplifying voices, increasing awareness, and connecting communities across Minnesota and beyond.Position OverviewAccess Press is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Advertising Sales Representative to grow our advertising revenue. This is a commission-only position ideal for a self-starter who is passionate about community impact and confident in their ability to build relationships and close sales.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo support advertising including opportunities to highlight print and digital advertisements and classifieds and directory listings. Wherever it states advertisers, it includes classifieds and directory listings.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new advertising clients (businesses, nonprofits, service providers)Work with leadership to determine monthly and quarterly sales goals.Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective advertisersPresent advertising opportunities across print and digital platformsTrack outreach, pipeline, and sales activityPrepare monthly report for leadership of all contracted advertising revenue, as well as potential leadsDevelop quarterly work plan that includes outreach to new advertisers and new opportunities for advertising and sponsorshipsCollaborate with the Access Press team on ad strategy and client needsCollaborate with Business Operations and Advertising Manager to finalize contracts with new advertisers and meet deadlines for print production and online postingPromote existing and seek new opportunities to support Access Press (Online/Social Media/Sponsorships)Prepare information for media kits and develop/implement marketing strategies to promote ad sales to new advertisersProvide support to monthly ad manifest to confirm new ads.Compensation100% commission-basedCompetitive commission structure – 20% on new ad sales onlyHigh earning potential based on performanceFlexible schedule and work environmentQualificationsProven experience in sales, marketing, or business development preferredStrong communication and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independentlyPassion for community-based work and/or disability advocacy is a plusFamiliarity with media, advertising, or nonprofit sectors is helpful but not requiredWhy Join Access Press?Make a meaningful impact by supporting a mission-driven publicationFlexible, remote work structureOpportunity to grow with an established and respected organizationBe part of expanding awareness and resources for the disability communityHow to ApplyPlease submit a brief introduction and any relevant experience to careers@accesspress.org.
